The most convenient route by plane is to take a flight to Milan Malpensa Airport, which is only a 50-minute drive away from Cernobbio. Leave the airport and follow the directions to Milan (A8 motorway). Then take the A9 motorway (towards Como – Chiasso) until you reach the Lago di Como exit (the last exit before the Swiss border). Then follow the directions to Cernobbio for approx. 5 km until you reach Villa d’Este.

If you are travelling from Milan Linate Airport, leave the airport and follow the directions to Como – Chiasso (A9 motorway) until you reach the Lago di Como exit (the last exit before the Swiss border). Then follow the directions to Cernobbio for approx. 5 km until you reach Villa d’Este.

GENERAL PARKING INSTRUCTIONS.
Cernobbio is a small town on the shores of Lake Como, where the streets are narrow and car parking is limited. If possible, you should use public transport.
