The BMW i7 M70 xDrive introduces an all-electric M Performance model to spearhead the new BMW 7 Series range. The flagship model offers the perfect combination of electromobility and performance to yield a unique driving experience in the luxury segment. Its M-specific electric drive comprises two highly integrated drive units at the front and rear axles, and sets standards for dynamic performance. The combined maximum system output of 485 kW/660 hp makes the BMW i7 M70 xDrive the most powerful model with all-electric drive in the entire portfolio of the BMW Group.

The M-specific design features of the BMW i7 M70 xDrive combine sporty presence with luxurious elegance for a new era of all-electric mobility in the luxury segment.

The BMW Individual two-tone paintwork provides a particularly extravagant expression of personality that can now be complemented by BMW Individual special paint finishes. The premiere of the BMW i7 M70 xDrive features a combination of the colours BMW Individual Liquid Copper metallic for the lower section of the body and Sapphire Black for the upper section. A precisely positioned sumptuous coachline separates the two areas of colour in the manner of a filigree signature. All the BMW Individual paint finishes are applied in a separate manufacturing process, with a high proportion of the work carried out by artisan craftsmanship.

The ultimate in individuality and tailormade design can be additionally provided by BMW Individual Manufaktur to cater for heightened awareness of superlative quality.

The specialists here develop and produce exclusive one-off creations featuring design and equipment details for the exterior and interior to precisely reflect the customer’s style vision. These include bespoke, individual upholstery options, for example in a bi-colour variant, stitching on the head restraints, and customised door sill plates and interior trim elements.

Developing maximum power with the powerful electric drives is activated with the M Sport Boost function and the M Launch Control.

Generating system torque of 1,100 Nm delivers maximum traction from the all-wheel drive and accelerates the BMW i7 M70 xDrive in an impressive 3.7 seconds in the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h. The drive sound composed specially for fully electrically powered BMW M automobiles highlights the emotional driving experience in Sport Mode. The spectrum of sound is particularly dominant and powerful so that the soundtrack gives an especially intense experience of the performance characteristics.

The impressive energy density of the high-voltage battery complements the optimised efficiency. The battery is positioned in the underbody of the vehicle and provides usable energy of 101.7 kWh. This gives the BMW i7 M70 xDrive a range of 488 to 560 kilometres (WLTP), making it eminently suitable for routine, everyday use.

Like all models of the new BMW 7 Series, the BMW i7 M70 xDrive embodies the supreme innovative power of the brand and defines new standards for the luxury segment with innovative equipment details.

The highlights give a sense of progressive luxury to the flagship model and enhance a feeling of well-being on long journeys.
