Arrival of the participants and preview of three wonderful days featuring Historic Cars

+++ The final days in the immediate run-up to the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este have traditionally been particularly exciting. As soon as the first Historic Cars arrive at the venue of the world’s most exclusive beauty contest, anticipation among all the participants starts to soar as they get an inkling of the weekend’s celebratory days to come. +++

Munich/Cernobbio. The Prelude Tour has now become a traditional event in advance of the Concorso d´Eleganza Villa d´Este. This year, the itinerary takes the participants to a stopover at the legendary Monza race track in Northern Italy. After taking a break there, the Historic Cars will initially head for the picturesque harbour of Cernobbio in the afternoon of 18th May. When the automobiles roll up at Lake Como, passionate aficionados will have an opportunity to get a first glimpse of some of the starter field.

We are all very much looking forward to the parade of Historic Cars along the glorious terrace of Villa d’Este on the sell-out Saturday. This year, the special fascination and rich diversity of classically elegant and exceptional automobiles will be presented in eight award classes.

BMW Group Classic is inviting all the fans of classic and exclusive automobiles to the “Public Day – Il Festival” on the Sunday, which will be held in the parkland of nearby Villa Erba. On Sunday 21st May, connoisseurs will be able to witness the famous parade of all the Historic Cars participating in the Concorso d´Eleganza Villa d´Este. In addition, guests will be treated to a multifaceted programme of music and entertainment for the whole family.
